Dangerous is a Australian television drama series that first screened on FOX 8 January 2007 16 and has been shown on RTÉ One in Ireland. In mid-2008, it began running The WB's internet network in the US.
It includes a"Romeo and Juliet" story of forbidden romance, set against the culturally diverse backgrounds of Sydney's western suburbs street offense and the affluence of Sydney's eastern suburbs. It investigates youth culture, including taboo subjects like party medication use and the world of drag racing and ramraiding. Dangerous is Created by John Edwards and Imogen Banks. Writers include Brendan Cowell and Fiona Seres, acclaimed to their work on Love My Way. David Caesar and Shawn Seet directs it. The series' theme song is"Set The Record Straight", performed by New Zealand hip hop group Fast Crew, even though lyrics"Auckland City, let's move" has been changed to"Sydney City, let's proceed" for use on the series.
