Disco
Disco was a soda music program which aired in Germany on the ZDF network. It aired at 7:30 PM on the first Saturday of each month, each show running 45 minutes. 133 shows are made. Actor and comedian Ilja Richter hosted the show. Its lesser famous predecessor on ZDF, 4-3-2-1 Hot & Sweet was aired between 1966 and 1970, presenters included Ilja Richter and Suzanne Doucet. Disco functioned as a pop-oriented audience that was younger compared to ZDF's Hitparade, also until 1972, its main rival was Beat-Club, accompanied Musikladen.
Repeats of Disco are since 1984 on ZDF Musikkanal, as a result of its close down at 1989 on 3sat. Since 2004, repeats of the series aired. In 2007, ZDF Dokukanal started to broadcast reruns, you start with episodes from 1975 and multiple repeats of the show have been demonstrated in 2008 on hit24.
The show focussed at that time of airing current on graph hits, giving about equal airtime to pop music and German Schlager. Even though it featured many disco strikes provided that these were relevant despite its name, it did not especially concentrate on disco music. .
