Doraemon
Nobita Nobi is indeed hapless that his 22nd century decendants are impoverished as a result of his 20th century . In a bid to raise their social status, their slave, a robotic cat decides to return intime and direct Nobita on the appropriate road to luck. Unfortunately Doraemon, a robot which the familly acquired by accident (but decided to maintain nonetheless), isn't better off than Nobita. The robot also direct Nobita on adventures, and while Nobita's life certainly is more intriguing with the robot cat from the future, it's suspicious if it's in reality better at the way that Doraemon planned.
