Dramarama
Dramarama could be the name of a British kids' anthology show broadcast on ITV between 1989 and 1983. It didn't comprise drama of supernatural bent or a science fiction. The show was created by Anna Home, then head of children's and youth programming in TVS, however production responsibilities were broken up amongst the majority of the ITV franchise holders. Each episode was in clinic a production having its own cast and crew, upto and including the executive manufacturer.
Dramarama was a place to establish themselves and has been a launching pad for the likes of Anthony Horowitz, Paul Abbott, Kay Mellor, Janice Hally, Tony Kearney, David Tennant and Ann Marie Di Mambro. It was one of the credits of Dennis Spooner.
Certainly one of Dramarama's episodes,"Dodger, Bonzo And The Rush", gained a lot of fame it was turned into its own show the following year. It starred Lee Ross and has been established around a home that was large. The episode"Blackbird Singing At The Dead of Night" Originated by Granada into the TV series Children's Ward. It was repeated on 5 throughout the 30th anniversary oldskool Weekend of CITV. The Series7 installment"Back To Front" -- noteworthy for incorporating a mirror image of this Yorkshire Television logo card at the end -- has been replicated on 6 January 2013, again as part of CITV's 30th anniversary oldskool Weekend.
