Elfen Lied
The Diclonius, a mutant homo sapien thought to be chosen by God and destined to destroy humanity, has two horns on its head and telekinetic "sixth sense." The government has captured and quarantined them in laboratories due to their hazardous power. Lucy, a young and crazy Diclonius, escapes her confinement and murders the majority of the guards in the laboratory before being shot in the head as she attempts to flee. She survives and manages to drift to a beach, where she is discovered by two teens named Kouta and Yuka. Having lost her memory, she was given the name "Nyuu" after the sole word she can now utter, and she was allowed to stay at Kouta's house. However, it appears that the villainous "Lucy" is not dead...
