Ellen
Ellen is an American television sitcom that aired on the ABC network from March 2-9, 1994 on July 22, 1998, comprising of 109 episodes. The name role of Ellen Morgan, played with stand-up comedian Ellen DeGeneres, was a neurotic book store owner in her thirties.
The series devoted to Ellen's working together with the problems of life, her family and her unique friends. The series is renowned for being the first one where the main character came out as gay, which DeGeneres' character failed at the 1997 incident"Puppy Episode". This event prompted ABC to put a civic advisory in the start of each episode, and received a terrific deal of media exposure, controversy that was ignited.
The series' theme song,"So Called Friend" is from Scottish band Texas. There was A running gag that each incident had a opening credits sequence, leading in Ellen search for the launching credits.
