Joy enjoys every aspect of her current situation. It's just how she wants it: clean and tidy. Aidan, Joy's long-term lover, broke up with her, but she doesn't mind. Aidan the dog, on the other hand, is afflicted with stress incontinence and a broken heart. Joy's life is wonderful until she gets a new job as a substitute for Flora the Happy Hunter, Ireland's most popular YouTuber. As a result of this unwelcome promotion, Joy must deal with a world she has tried to avoid, one that includes oversharing, boundary breaking, messy housemates, one-night stands and full-contact wrestling.
