Great Teacher Onizuka
Onizuka is a former biker and gang leader whose sole ambition is to become the best teacher. As an intern teacher, he discovers the power and respect attainable, utilizing his strength and contacts to acquire the respect of his students. Now that he has graduated, he obtains a position at a prominent private school to manage a "difficult class" that caused the previous teachers to leave. Some of the sharpest children in Japan prefer a more cerebral approach to tormenting their teacher, so he must deal with a new type of trouble. Onizuka must gradually gain the trust of his students and contend with their skepticism of teachers, all while dealing with the mistrust of his peers.
