People and bloodthirsty creatures from Indonesian mythology have lived together for hundreds of years in the busy streets and alleys of Jakarta. The true identities of these "Demit," who look like humans, have been kept secret for hundreds of years by a powerful family of mortals. This hidden world will come to light when the Gift, a mysterious supernatural event, happens. As the day of the Gift gets closer, Sarah, a young street artist, finds herself in the middle of a storm. Once the Demit find out who Sarah really is and what she has to do, humans and Demit are headed for a collision that could change the balance of their two worlds for good.
