A large family is at the center of this drama, which also features a murder mystery and an inquiry by the police. The title is a play on the proverb "blood is thicker than water," but with a modern twist. Because of the difficulties, their family ties are not as strong as they once were. When a member of the family passes away in unexplained circumstances, the secrets that everyone has been hiding are going to be uncovered. Yi, the oldest brother, and Pete, the second brother, investigate the matter in an effort to uncover the truth. Patsorn and Cris, their mother, are the primary people of interest in this case. They must each demonstrate that they are innocent to clear their names. However, the more Yi and Pete look into the matter, the more shady information they uncover about the family, and eventually everyone becomes a suspect.
