InSecurity is a action comedy television show. The show focuses on a Group of spycatchers set at the fictional Canadian National Intelligence and Security Agency. The show is put in Ottawa but filmed chiefly in Regina. The season of 13 episodes expired January 4, 2011. Another season of 10 episodes before cancellation followed closely it by CBC on April 19, 2012 due to funding reductions from the 2012 Canadian funding.
One of the producers called it"that the 24 of Canada". One writer described it "24 without Jack Bauer. CSI Without the science. And James Bond - if James Bond were Mr. Bean."
The pilot focused on the tedium involved with electronic eavesdropping but the decision has been made that it would be too"niche". Another pilot has been completed with a 2 4 approach.
