Back in Jann, Jann Arden performs with a fictionalized, selfdeprecating version of herself: a singersongwriter of a"certain age" in severe denial of the harsh reality her former music career will be slowly (ok immediately ) fading off. Nonetheless, it's not only Jann's livelihood that is on life support -- she's newly single (do not remind her), her sister could disown her, along with her mum could be showing early signs of memory loss. Jann's individual life is in shambles and she is convinced that the cure-all is to enlist a new manager to help rebrand her image. Filled with loads of LOL minutes, she embarks on a quest to go back to greatness and proceed viral, but instead gets tangled in her' real' life's pressures. Jann reaches the crossroads between who she would like to be and who she was. Can Jann stage a comeback, recover fame...and be present for the individuals who love ?
