Jason and the Argonauts
The popular myth of Jason and the Golden Fleece served as the inspiration for Jason and the Argonauts. Jason, who is still quite young, watches his father's cruel deposition and death by his uncle Pelias. Twenty years later, Jason returns home to claim his rightful role as king, but Pelias wants him beheaded. To rescue himself, Jason must go on a risky expedition to locate the Golden Fleece. As a result, Jason assembles a diverse group of men and embarks on the Argos. A two-part miniseries event, this Hallmark production starred Jason London as Jason and Jolene Blalock as Medea.
