Last Light
Andy Yeats, a petrochemist, is aware of how crucial oil is to modern life. If the world suddenly ran out of oil, it would have a domino effect on society at large, causing transportation problems, supply shortages, and police enforcement to be overworked. Andy's worst have come true: he and his family are separated at the most inopportune time, when he is on a business trip in the Middle East. While he and his wife, Elena, and his little baby, Sam, are in Paris, his adolescent daughter, Laura, is left at home in London. In the midst of this mayhem, every member of the family will risk death itself to reunite with the others, no matter how far apart they are or how dangerous the conditions.
