Awardwinning war correspondent Guy Foster, distraught after the wife's loss , combines a cruise to Cape Town, where he meets beautiful and mysterious Melissa. A classy blonde PR girl, Melissa is traveling using an exuberant group of media friends. Guy falls in love with the Melissa and she suggests they wed. However, while they observe, dark events start to happen. An elderly widower is'accidentally' lost. The bodies of a middleaged couple are situated in Cape Town. Afterward among the friends of Melissa is killed. The finger of suspicion falls upon Guy -- if Melissa herself is killed, he's found bending her bloodied corpse.
