Men Behaving Badly
Simon Nye is responsible for the creation of the British sitcom Men Behaving Badly as well as its writing. The lives of Gary Strang, Dermot Povey, and Tony Smart are chronicled during the course of the show. ITV was the network that initially aired it in 1992. There were a total of six series produced, in addition to a Christmas special and three concluding episodes that were combined to form the feature-length film "last orders." The majority of the scenes for the show were shot in and around Ealing, which is located in west London; the last scene of the sixth season was shot at the Cerne Abbas giant. The setting, on the other hand, is strongly suggested to be South London, and numerous references are made to the county of Surrey. It was created by Hartswood Films, while Thames Television co-produced the first two series for ITV. Both of these series were broadcast on ITV. They were also involved in the creation of the third series and subsequent series, which were broadcast on the BBC. The success of "Men Behaving Badly" skyrocketed once the show was relocated to a later time slot on BBC1 (after the watershed). During the celebrations for BBC Television's 60th anniversary in1996, it was named the best sitcom in the history of the BBC by the audience. Additionally, it was ranked sixteenth in the poll that BBC2 conducted in 2004 to determine the best sitcom in Britain. Additionally, it took home the trophy for outstanding ITV comedy at the Comedy Awards, as well as the inaugural National Television Award for Situation Comedy.
