Nirvana in Fire
War breaks out between the feudal Northern Wei and Southern Liang kingdoms during the Great Unrest of 4th-century China. General Lin Xie of Liang leads his lone 17-year-old son, Lin Shu, into battle and defeats the enemy Wei army. However, when a political adversary frames General Lin Xie, 70,000 Chiyan army soldiers are killed. Lin Shu is able to escape with his life thanks to the assistance of a devoted subordinate. Lin Shu founds the Jiangzuo Alliance and returns to the city as Chief Mei Changsu twelve years later. What lengths will Mei Changsu go to protect his own people if the Northern Wei army launch another attack?
