After years of sailing the ocean, Noah Tomten, a retired sea captain, possesses a classic toystore called Notions Oddities Doodads and Delights of Yesterday, a variety of toys, from the weasel living inside of a jack in the box to your dog pretending to be a superhero, together with his furry friend. Two of his grandkids, both Kate and Truman, as well as the friend DJ of Kate, come to see him from time to time.
