The world of on Flux is strange and dystopian. The main character is a tall, leather-clad spy from the country of Monica who is good at killing people and doing acrobatics. Her job is to get into the strongholds of the neighboring country of Bregna, which is run by Trevor Goodchild, who is sometimes her enemy and sometimes her lover. Bregna is like a police state, while Monica is like a dynamic anarchist society.
