Ouran High School Host Club
The manga series Ouran High School Host Club was written by Bisco Hatori and ran in Hakusensha's LaLa magazine from September 2002 to November 2010. Haruhi Fujioka is a scholarship student at Ouran High School, and the show follows her and the other members of the popular host club. The romantic comedy makes fun of the cliches and stereotypes of shjo by focusing on the relationships inside and outside of the Club. There are also times when the characters step outside of the story. The manga has been turned into a series of audio dramas, an animated TV series directed by Takuya Igarashi and made by Bones, and a visual novel by Idea Factory.
