Penance
Penance is a psychological thriller that follows Rosalie and Luke Douglas and their adolescent daughter, Maddie. Rosalie and Luke's marriage is under enormous strain as a result of the loss of their son. Maddie and Rosalie find themselves in the capable hands of Jed, a charming and charismatic young man they meet at bereavement counselling who is also struggling with his own grief. Jed gives the Douglas family renewed hope for the future. However, beneath the surface, a lethal and morally tainted triangle is forming.
