Rescue: Special Ops is an Australian TV drama that first aired in 2009 on the Nine Network. The show is made by Southern Star Group with help from Screen Australia and the New South Wales Government. It was filmed in and around Sydney. In this drama series, the main characters are a group of experienced, professional paramedics who are experts at saving people. The first episode aired on August 2, 2009, and the last episode of the first season aired on October 25, 2009. The second season started on June 28, 2010. On May 30, 2011, the 22 episodes of the third and last season began to air. Rescue Special Ops will not be back for a fourth season, the Nine Network has said.
