After Eva Perón passes away in 1952, her body is stored for three years while a tomb is built, despite the fact that it was never completed. The Argentine military took power in 1955 and hid Perón's remains from the public out of fear that his death would galvanize the populace against them. They didn't foresee that by killing her, she'd become an even greater threat than she was in life.
