Shooting Stars
Shooting Stars is actually a British television comedy board game broadcast on BBC Two as a pilot in 1993, then as 3 full series from 1995 to 1997, afterward on BBC Choice in January to December 2002 with 2 series before returning to BBC Two for the following 3 series from 2008 before its cancellation in 2011. Created and hosted by double-act Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, it uses exactly the panel screen format however with the comedians' frequently slapstick, surreal and anarchic humor does not rely on rules to be able to work, with the pair apparently dismissing existing principles or formulating new ones and if the mood takes them.
