Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love continues the story of Space Battleship Yamato 2199.
It's the season 2202, three years after the war using Gamillas, individuals within the Solar System are finally at peace and the planet earth was restored back to life. With the war's close, there's just really a peace treaty between Earth and Gamillas which will strengthen their military bond along with also secure authentic peace. Along with the reconstruction of Earth, the forces form a new defense fleet Andromeda, with a boat, to be the new sign of power. The Earth is moving on a path of military expansion. But when a new threat called the Gatlantis starts to wreak chaos to a galaxy that is newly re formed, the Yamato is called upon by the Goddess Teressa in order to fight against the new threat.
