The Alice
The Alice was an Australian television drama series developed by Justin Monjo and Robyn Sinclair that aired from 2004 to 2006. It took place in the central outback city of Alice Springs, which served as the setting for the film. The program began as a popular television movie that was later turned into a regular television series. It was less successful than expected, and the Nine Network decided to discontinue it on September28,2005, following a precipitous drop in its ratings. The complete series, as well as the original television movie, has since been made available on DVD for the first time.
