The film of the identical name inspired the Large Easy television show from 1987. August 11, 1996 the series premiered on the USA Cable Network. Tony Crane played with New Orleans police lieutenant/detective Remy McSwain, Susan Walters played country district attorney Anne Osbourne and Barry Corbin played police leader C.D. LeBlanc. Daniel Petrie Jr. has been the executive producer of this set. 3-5 episodes were broadcast over two seasons.
The show occurs in New Orleans and has been shot on location.
