The household is a British fly on the wall documentary series that began airing 17 September 2008. Every year follows a family that is , consisting of parents and their children. The project aim was to acquire a picture of normal household life in britain, as film-maker and manager Jonathan Smith experimented with"condense four months of everyday life to eight films". The show is a resurrection of the collection.
