The Human Body
The body is just a seven-part documentary series, first exhibited on 20 May 1998 on BBC One and presented by clinical scientist Robert Winston. A Co production involving the BBC and The Learning Channel, the series examines emotions and the mechanisms of the human body from birth to death.
The series has been nominated for numerous awards, winning several, for example four RTS awards, three BAFTA awards and a Peabody Award.
