The Phone is a television reality series, which is made Beau van Erven Dorens, by Willem Brom and Marc Bennink.
At places two cellular phones will likely be hidden in each series by the manufacturers of this series. The phones will start ringing and the people are far from that moment participants from the game. These two different people finally have a chance of winning $25,000 by collaborating in the search for achievement of the assignments that are provided. The special element of the series is that it's filmed as being a movie instead of a simple series. It had been motivated by films like Die Hard with a Vengeance.
Dutch people broadcaster AVRO about July 6, 2007 aired the first episode of The Phone. The series has already been sold to 52 states.
It won the Reality decoration at the 2008 Rose d'Or ceremony.
