Alexandra experiences her biggest nightmare when she receives a call from Conrado, a local police officer, asking her to identify the body of her husband, Oscar, which was discovered on a pier in the lovely Albufera environment outside Valencia. Suicide? How is this possible when they had just hours previously established future plans? But it gets worse: Oscar was living a parallel life with another woman, Veronica. What is her identity? Who was the fifteen-year love she had? And what transpired on the dock that fateful night?
