The Ricky Gervais Show
The Ricky Gervais Show is a American Animation series produced for and broadcast by Channel 4 and HBO. The show is an animated version of the most popular sound podcasts and audiobooks of the identical name, that comprise Stephen Merchant and Ricky Gervais, along with colleague and friend Karl Pilkington, speaking about various subjects on the other side of the mike. The TV show consists of past sound recordings of these unscripted"pointless conversations," with cartoon drawn in a style similar to classic age Hanna-Barbera cartoons, presenting jokes and situations in a literal context.
The animated Ricky Gervais Show has aired 39 episodes over three seasons since it premiered 2010. This was shelved in June 2012, although there were several plans for a possible fourth summer that would have used newly listed audio. Series 3 of this Ricky Gervais Show expired on 20 April 2012 on on 8 May 2012 on E4, also HBO.
