The Unusuals is actually a comedy drama television show that aired on ABC from April 8 to June 17, 2009 at the U.S. and Global in Canada. First episode and the pilot were written by Noah Hawley, a former writer and producer for Fox's Bones. An ABC pressrelease clarified The Unusuals as"like a modern-day M*A*S*H" that"explores the grounded drama and comic insanity of this planet of New York City police detectives, at which every cop comes with a secret". The initial series arrangement was to get 10 episodes. Show creator Noah Hawley announced via his Twitter account in mid-May 2009 that ABC wouldn't be bringing the series back for another season.
