The Young Ones is a British sitcom that aired in Britain in two six-part series from 1982 to 1984. It was on BBC2 and had strange, anarchic humor that helped bring alternative comedy to TV in the 1980s and made the show's writers and actors well-known. In 1985, it was shown on MTV. It was one of the first shows on the channel that wasn't about music.
