Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
A tinker, a tailor, a soldier, a sailor, a rich guy, a poor man, a beggar-man, and a thief are all types of people. The aged master spy of the Cold War and former heir apparent to Control, George Smiley, is dragged out of retirement for the purpose of rooting out a high-level mole working within the Circus organization. Smiley had to go back in time through his life and investigate the shady goings-on at the Circus in order to untangle the web that was woven by his adversary Karla "The Sandman" of the KGB and discover the name of the informant before he vanishes.
