Maxine never left it into the big time as a portion of girlgroup Variety, but is still desperately trying to cling on to her fantasy whilst the (neglecting ) music director for teenage pop band Sweet Gyal. Maxine finds herself crisis when, fed up of her trying to live vicariously through them along with her attempts to get them a record deal, eldest Gyal threaten to drop her.
