Her fourteen year-old daughter Misha disappears when Hana Sikorova, mayor of a northern Bohemian village, stands to large coal mining dilemma that provides villagers compensation in exchange for left their homes built comprising coal residue. The look for the daughter leaves Hana suspicious of the whole community, after years of peaceful coexistence. Under the pressure of events, show its face and the community starts to break apart. The story divides to interweaving narratives that connect in unexpected ways.
