12 into 16 contestants with inadequate cooking skills are taken through an eight-week culinary boot camp, to earn a cash prize of $25,000. The recruits are trained on the many cooking techniques including: knife knowledge, E, fever, seasoning and preparation. The last challenge is always to cook a restaurant quality meal for all three food critics.
