A Kiss Before Dying
Faculty student Jonathan Corliss dates Dorothy Carlsson to obtain her father's approval. When Dorothy tells Jonathan she is pregnant and her dad will deny her inheritance if he realizes, she is murdered by Jonathan, but he stages her death as a suicide. Since Jonathan works his way onto Mr. Carlsson's payroll, Dorothy's twin sister, Ellen, investigates the apparent suicide.
