Pop superstar Adelaide Kay is sick and tired with her controlling director she slides off the tour bus after their latest squabble. Though exhilarated to be free, she finds herself stranded without any income and no program, in the cold of a Pennsylvania winter. A local family take her in. They understand the actual significance of this summer season though they are near losing their milk farm. No one from the family admits Adelaide the oldest son, except Dillon. He figures she's the ticket to fast plots and cash to photos of Adelaide and also sell them into the tabs. What he does not plan, however, is the mutual fascination.
