All Dogs Go to Heaven
When Charlie, a casino-owning dog, is murdered by his rival Carface, he ends up in Heaven by default, because all dogs go to heaven. However, in order to exact revenge on his assailant, he connives his way back to life, despite the fact that doing so will condemn him to Hell. When he returns, he joins forces with an old ally, Itchy, to plan his retaliation. He also comes across an orphan girl who can communicate with animals, allowing him to get insider information on the races in order to ensure his victories and fund his plans. However, he is still plagued by nightmares about what awaits him on the other side unless he can prove his worthiness of Heaven once more.
