Rachel, a young mother, searches for her missing teen daughter, Hannah, after their car crashes outside of a small town in the middle of nowhere. People mysteriously die in Rachel's wake as she gets closer to discovering that the small-town doctor kidnapped her daughter. He and his wife never recovered from the tragic loss of their teen daughter, and Hannah turns out to be the ideal surrogate to take her place. Rachel must find and save her daughter before she is forced to play this role for the rest of her life.
