Chinese Odyssey 2002
Even the Emperor (Chang Chen) is desperate to the free-spirited life of a wanderer, and attempts to escape out of the royal palace together along with his sister, the Princess (Faye Wong). He's captured and returned to his mother by the guards, but the Princess, disguised like a man, manages to escape. Meanwhile, King Bully (Tony Leung) has returned to his hometown, where he is widely despised because of his bullying manners, to conduct a restaurant together along with his tomboy sister, Phoenix (Vicki Zhao). They've an extremely close partnership. In fact, King Bully wrongly believes he can read his sister's mind. King Bully finds himself drawn to her, but, presuming she is a man, decides that his fascination is some type of compassion with Phoenix when the Princess arrives in the town.
