Cheng Pei-pei plays a fighter-for-hire who has been contracted by the government to retrieve the governor son, Golden Swallow. Holding him is really just a group of rebels who are currently demanding their leader be discharged in return to the son that is recorded from prison. After a quick encounter with the group at a local restaurant, Golden Swallow is connected by an inebriated wanderer Drunken Cat (Yueh Hua) who aids her in her assignment.
