The desert is harsh. Daytime temperatures exceed 100°F, stopping a man in his tracks, while nighttime temperatures dip below 0°F, killing him. It's teeming with feral and deadly It's not a place to get lost. Sadly, Todd, Josh, and their pals have done just that. The gang of youngsters and two hitchhikers have taken a wrong turn on their route to a ski trip and are now miles from civilisation. Some say desert animals are more terrified of people than humans are of them. But in this situation, they have reason to be more than just terrified. One wild critter in this section of the California desert does not fear man. A huge, vicious beast that craves their flesh. Strong. So primal. It's constant. It's also hungry.
