In the 1950's, an extraterrestrial microbe makes its way to isolated Siberia. In2004, scientists in the United States clone the bacteria at a top-secret subterranean facility in Alaska. Just before the facility is completely locked down, a garbled distress call is detected from the lab. This is the final message from the scientists. What went wrong is being investigated by a team of scientists and military officials.
