Kevin Hunter, a petty crook who has recently been released from prison, is looking after his sick mother and young daughter. Kevin has no prospects for employment and needs money badly, so he resorts to his old method of making ends meet: robbery. Unfortunately, he has stolen from the wrong person this time, and the valuable item he now possesses rightfully belongs to a powerful and dangerous man who will stop at nothing to recover it. Kevin needs to find an exit strategy because he's in over his head.
