Vincent hasn't been able to move on from the breakup of his parents. He doesn't have a job or any real responsibilities, so he hangs out with Steve, his best friend from childhood, and Jess, his girlfriend. That is, until he meets Roma, at which point it changes. Vincent is still in a relationship with Jess, so he introduces Roma to Steve and watches them fall in love. This makes him hide his feelings for her. They get together when Steve goes out of town. They declare their love and promise to tell Steve by the end of that day. However, as the sun goes down behind the skyline of Los Angeles, Vincent thinks about how his parents' marriage failed, how he hasn't grown up, and how to become a better person.
