As a former professional baseball player, Kim Sang-nam is sent to the countryside to coach a team of hearing-impaired players in order to evade the media's attention on his recent involvement in a domestic violence case. After spending time with the boys, Kim begins to believe they are capable of playing baseball, despite the fact that they are deaf. As a result, Kim agrees to assist them prepare for the nationals. However, Kim's intentions fall apart due to their inability to effectively communicate with one another.
