Dax, a jaded rock star, is discovered passed out in his car with a frozen holiday turkey in the passenger seat by New York paparazzi. Dax openly promises to grant a fan's "Dear Santa" Christmas wish in order to rebuild his tarnished image. To Dax's dismay, his manager Jason delivers him to Cedar Grove, a small Midwest town where he has agreed to stay a week and play in a local holiday Christmas concert.
